Cookie Season 2013

COOKIE RALLY

Cookie Season is here! Our girls began taking cookie orders January 1st to reach an individual goal of 250 boxes. The goal was made to help pay for their camping trip in May and to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital Build-a-Bear program. The girls were excited to get out and make those sales.

To kick things off the girls attended the 2013 Cookie Rally at Sea World of Texas. They got our there early and earned their patches at the Tailgate portion of the event. The girls had some great hands-on experiences through sponsors like HEB, Wells Fargo, CPS Energy and Valero.

Troop #502 also did their part for their community by donating canned food to the San Antonio Food Bank.

The girls had their a tailgate party of their own as they got to eat lunch with their friends and family from their trunks!

Once inside Troop #502 was treated to a dolphin show and none other than Shamu! They also kicked off Cookie Season with thousands of their Girl Scout sisters of Southwest Texas at Ski Stadium.

The girls were excited to be with their family and friends. Cookie Season is full swing and they couldn't wait to get their cookies!!

Here is some of our girls who got to meet up with Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas CEO Rose Gonzales Perez.

COOKIE DAY

The cookies have arrived! The cookies came by the truck load and thanks to some amazing parents, we picked up 7,000 boxes of cookies. These cookies were to be picked up and delivered for those initial orders plus for the upcoming booth sales.

We have to give a HUGE thumbs up to our dads who put the muscle behind our big order!

Booth Sales are starting and the girls are ready! Ms. Gisela made some awesome cookie costumes for our girls to wear during booth sales. They look beautiful and are sure to get the attention of those cookie lovers!

Troop #502 is COOKIE READY!!!

Check back soon to see how we do with our Booth Sales!!
